Barry Marshall-Graham.

My work sits at the intersection of clarity, standards, behaviour, and trust, especially in the moments where senior leaders can feel the cost of drift but haven’t yet reset it cleanly.

More than 25 years in software and technology leadership has meant building and leading engineering organisations, scaling teams, and staying accountable for delivery, culture, and standards in complex, high-pressure environments.

That experience has included leading large multi-national organisations for globally recognised clients and brands, alongside the quieter, harder work of stakeholder management, decision-making under pressure, and the conversations that determine whether good work actually lands.

Many of my assignments have involved stepping into environments that needed stabilising: executive team resets, delivery turnarounds, standards repair, legacy drag reduction, and the kind of operational clarity that improves performance without creating more noise.

My coaching approach is grounded in that reality. It is practical, calm, and direct. The aim is not motivational theatre. The aim is better judgement, clearer language, and stronger follow-through when the room is tense and the stakes are real.

That same through-line runs into the writing and my upcoming book, High-Fidelity Leadership: difficult conversations handled earlier, standards held more cleanly, and leadership that feels steadier because ambiguity is no longer being carried in silence.

My style is calm, structured, and honest. I’m not interested in motivational noise. I’m interested in the words you need to hear that others will not dare to say, the standard you need to set that you may not hold yourself, and being your accountability partner for the next small steps you’ll take.

I live on the North-East coast with my wife and three daughters. After a full and busy professional week, I reset in the quiet of living by the sea and the stillness of the countryside nearby.
