Get Out of Your Own Way

Get Out of Your Own Way

Sometimes the obstacle isn’t out there … it’s inside.

The delay, the self-doubt, the overthinking, the endless planning.

The little voice that says, _“You’re not ready yet …”, o_r worse: “Who do you think you are?”

We call it preparation internally, but often, it’s just protection.

Protection from being judged.

From getting it wrong.

From doing the thing before we feel totally “qualified” to do the thing.

But here’s the truth:

You don’t need to be perfect.

You don’t need a full plan.

You just need to start.

Take the step.

Deliver the basic ask.

Press send.

Say yes.

Launch it!

The clarity you want is hiding behind action.

So, ask yourself:

“If I stopped getting in my own way, what might be possible?”

Your path isn’t blocked.

You’re just standing in the middle of it.

Step aside.

Let yourself move.

Remember, the path to extraordinary is walked with a thousand small steps, you’re doing great!

The Avoided Conversation Is a Decision

Calm Authority in Tense Rooms

Authority isn't volume or force. It's the ability to hold a tense room steady, name what matters, and set a clear boundary without heat.

The First Small Tolerance

Standards rarely collapse in a moment. They slip through the first small tolerance you let pass, then the next one feels easier.

The Decision Vacuum

When decision rights are unclear, every meeting becomes a referendum. Clarity is less about answers and more about who owns the call.
